How cancellations, replacements, refunds, and damaged custom orders are handled.

Custom Order Returns

Most Independence Prints items are custom made, made to order, or reviewed for a specific customer file. Because of that, returns for buyer's remorse, incorrect customer-provided files, or changed preferences may be limited after review or production begins.

If a custom item arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved order details, contact us promptly so we can review the issue and determine the right replacement, repair, or refund path.

Cancellations

Requests may be canceled before design review, material preparation, or production begins. Once work has started, cancellation availability depends on the status of the quote, proof, materials, and production schedule.

Approved quotes and paid orders may include non-refundable review, setup, material, or production costs once those costs have been incurred.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Please keep packaging and take clear photos of any shipping damage, defects, or incorrect items. This helps us review the issue quickly and work with the carrier when needed.

We may ask for photos, order details, and a short description before approving a replacement, repair, refund, or other resolution.
